Breakthrough!

I've been working on my assignment for three weeks already and made little progress. The assignment consists of learning up a new language and writing a rather complicated program. No dateline has been given so far. The requirements were all listed down. Two pages long.

I like programming up to a certain extend. But I simply hate getting stuck. Wait, who doesn't? Anyway, I've been doing lots of research, looking for hints online, reading up a three-inch book, and going through the new language's dictionary. I've also cried, pulled my hair, attempted to scream silently in my cubicle, crept under my desk to think harder, and complained like crazy.

Today I suddenly thought of a way. The way. I tried it and it worked. A very happy smile broke up in my so-very-stressed-up-face. It's not completed yet. Not even three quarters. But who cares. I immediately ping-ed my mentor and broke the good news. She replied, "Wow. That's fast! Very good." And I thought she was getting impatient with me being so slow already. Now she says I'm fast? Did I imagine up all the stress for nothing?

I. want. to. bang my head against the wall.

Well, I guess it's a good thing though. At least I've progressed. Now that I know I'm fast maybe I can relax a little. Wait, that's bad. I'll continue with the assignment. But right now, I just want to lean back, take a breather and empty my over-saturated brain.

p/s.: I think I'm getting to be more of a geek. Help me!
