The Final Lap

Today's the D-Day. One more oral presentation and I'm free of college life. But it's weird. I don't feel anything right now. Except for the nervousness of having to do my presentation soon. But the time seems to pass by ever so slowly. Oh how I wish my presentation was at 8am. I would have been free by now. Mine's at 230pm. Five more hours to go. And my heart's already pumping like an express train. There're hundreds of butterflies in my stomach and I just don't feel right. Oh how in the world am I going to wait so long... My voice's all rough and husky thanks to the sore throat which decided to drop by yesterday and stayed overnight until today. Oh God, please let everything turn out nicely. Please give me back my voice just for that half an hour and please grant me favour with the examiners.  Please help me ward off any "bombs" hurled my way and shower me with loads of confidence which I'm definitely in need of. Ahh...if only I could fall asleep like sleeping beauty to awake when all this is over...
