I'm back from KL~ Aannddd...i'm not back in UTP yet. *super happy smile* Penang's the best place to be! Of course I enjoyed visiting Grandma. Her cooking's delicious! We had my favourite bang kuang char, bak kut curry, and lots of other nice dishes. Mak kor taught us how to make roti jala yesterday. It was real fun. But it wasn't so easy innitially though. It looked easy, but when I had my first try, my roti jala looked more like a ham chin peng!!! ==" Some momentum and "skill" is needed for the mixture to come out in long thin strings instead of plopping out in clumsy drops all over. Mummy's turned out like a pancake too! So it really wasn't easy~ =P Mak kor and Grandma had a good laugh as I tried again and again to make my roti jala come out stringy. After a few tries, I kind of got the hand of it. =)
Mummy took me hunting for too boh leng yesterday afternoon before leaving. I hardly miss the too boh leng hunt everytime we're in KL. It's one of the nicest fruits in the world~ Very very sour too~ Especially effective when Daddy's getting sleepy while driving us back. One bite and he would be wide awake again. =P
I'm glad to be back though. No matter how much I like going to places, home's always the best. It's the place I feel safest in. =)
